GETTING STARTED

Welcome to Nonilion! This guide will help you get up and running with our spatial audio platform.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT

To get started with Nonilion, you'll need to create an account. We use Clerk for secure authentication.

STEPS:

  1. 01Visit nonilion.com/sign-up
  2. 02Enter your email address and create a password
  3. 03Alternatively, sign up with Google, GitHub, or other supported providers
  4. 04Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  5. 05Complete your profile by adding your name and profile picture
TIP: Using a profile picture helps others identify you in the virtual environment.

CREATE YOUR FIRST ROOM

Rooms in Nonilion are virtual spaces where your meetings take place. You can create different rooms for different types of meetings.

STEPS:

  1. 01Navigate to the Dashboard after logging in
  2. 02Click on "Create New Room" button
  3. 03Enter a name for your room (e.g., "Team Weekly")
  4. 04Select an environment theme from the available options
  5. 05Configure room settings (privacy, features, etc.)
  6. 06Click "Create Room" to finish
TIP: Choose an environment that matches the purpose of your meeting. For casual team catch-ups, consider a relaxed setting like "Park" or "Café". For formal meetings, "Conference Room" might be more appropriate.

INVITE PARTICIPANTS

Once your room is created, you can invite others to join your meeting.

INVITATION METHODS:

  • SHARE LINKCopy the room link and share it via email, messaging apps, etc.
  • EMAIL INVITATIONSend invitations directly from Nonilion to participants' email addresses.
  • GOOGLE CALENDARSchedule a meeting and add the Nonilion room link to the calendar invitation.
  • QR CODEGenerate a QR code that participants can scan to join the room.
TIP: For recurring meetings, consider creating a permanent room and using the same link each time.

JOIN YOUR MEETING

When it's time for your meeting, you can easily join your room and start collaborating.

STEPS:

  1. 01Log in to your Nonilion account
  2. 02Navigate to the Dashboard
  3. 03Find your room in the list and click "Join"
  4. 04Allow microphone and camera access when prompted
  5. 05Configure your audio and video settings
  6. 06Click "Enter Room" to join the meeting
TIP: Test your audio and video before joining important meetings by using the "Test" button in the pre-join screen.

NAVIGATE THE VIRTUAL SPACE

Once in a room, you can move around and interact with others using simple controls.

TIP: Spatial audio means that you'll hear people louder when you're closer to them, just like in real life.
